Based on its successful EVOLVE 50, Electro-Voice has announced the new smaller and lighter EVOLVE 30M portable column loudspeaker, just in time for the NAMM 2020 show. Whether running sound at solo shows, clubs, and coffee shops, or serving up a fresh mix for small ensembles, performing groups, or presentations, the EVOLVE 30M makes it easy to get good tone, reach your audience, and move to the next gig.
Like the EVOLVE 50, the EVOLVE 30M features a 1000W Class-D amplifier pushing 500W to the sub and 500W to the column array. However, whereas the EVOLVE 50 has a 12" woofer and eight 3.5" drivers, the EVOLVE 30M sports a 10" woofer and six 2.8" drivers to allow for a more compact form factor. Custom-designed waveguides ensure that the EVOLVE 30M still achieves 120 degrees of horizontal coverage for room-filling sound.
