Geddy Lee is one of rock’s most legendary and Canadian bass players, with a tone that can’t be beat. But then again, there’s that old saying—if you can’t beat ’em, join ’em: now, with the Geddy Lee GED-2112 Signature SansAmp, you can do just that; you can take one step closer to his tone. This pedal successfully distills racks upon racks of Lee’s gear into a simple stompbox form factor.
The pedal takes the same approach as its rackmount processor and offers two preamps in one housing. One’s called Drive, and the other is called Deep. Drive is based on the SansAmp RMP and provides a wide array of tonal possibilities. Deep does one thing very well: thick, meaty tone.

You’ll find individual outputs for either preamp in both XLR and 1/4" terminations, so you can route your signal to an amp or straight to the house, if need be. Level selector switches on both the 1/4" and XLR paths allow you to accommodate nearly any type of bass pickup.
Really, there’s a lot to recommend this pedal to the progressive bassist. You better come check one out at our SuperStore or online when they’re available to get the full experience.
