Numark, a company known for its DJ equipment, has a new controller aimed at the aspiring DJ. Called the DJ2GO2 Touch, this two-channel DJ controller is designed for use specifically with Serato DJ Lite, which is included with your purchase. The software allows you to DJ your favorite songs right from Spotify, TIDAL, and other streaming services—so good thing the hardware is automatically mapped to give you comprehensive control over your own cloud-based jukebox!
Two touch-capacitive jog wheels are on hand for scratching and mixing, while a prominent crossfader lets you fade between the two decks. Each deck has four pads, which can be assigned to one of four modes—Hot Cue, Auto Loops, Manual Loops, and Sampler. The sync buttons make tempo matching a breeze, so you can keep the party going at the right tempo. Cue and Play/Pause buttons are on hand for both decks, and a pitch-fader lets you manually control any track’s playback speed.
