Despite the recent announcement that Motorola was jumping back into the flagship market, it is still very much committed to delivering some of the best mid-range phones you can buy, a fact made evident by the newly unveiled Moto G Fast and Moto E smartphones. Both offerings appear to uphold the traditions and values of their respective product lines, including Motorola’s mission to give customers the best performance bang for their buck.
The Moto G Fast is the first of the new phones, and true to its name, it appears to be designed for speedy performance and fast response. The engine driving that performance consists of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of built-in storage—all working together to run a near-stock version of Android 10. The Moto G Fast’s camera and display specs are similar to what we saw earlier this year in the latest Moto G Power device. On the back is a triple rear-camera setup with a 16MP wide lens, an 8MP ultra-wide lens with a 118° FOV and a 2MP macro lens. The front camera is an 8MP lens punched into the top corner of the G Fast’s 6.4" Max Vision (1560 x 720) display. Rounding out its features is a 4,000mAh battery that supports rapid charging.
