Father’s Day is right around the corner, and if you need some ideas for what to get dear ol’ Dad, you’ve come to the right place. Here are a few ideas I thought of that you may not have considered.
A Soundbar System
If Dad wants to upgrade his home audio system, but Mom doesn’t want to see more electronic “things” around the living room, then this VIZIO 3.1.2-Channel Soundbar System would be a good choice. At 3.1.2 channels, it has a dedicated center channel for enhanced dialogue, and two upward-firing Atmos speakers to simulate height effects, so the helicopter flying over the hero’s head in Dad’s favorite action movie actually sounds like it’s flying overhead. It doesn’t skimp out on the bass, either, because the included subwoofer can be placed under the couch, out of sight. It also includes legs, so Dad can stand it up elsewhere in the room. To be honest, I’ve had my eye on one of these systems ever since I got to try out a similar 5.1-channel soundbar system; I just don’t have the right layout at the moment to accommodate the rear speakers.
