These Rokinon T1.5 DSX High-Speed Cine and Samyang T1.5 VDSLR Mark 2 lenses will be available soon at B&H Photo in 24, 35, 50, and 85mm focal lengths with a 14mm version due early in 2021. Designed to cover full-frame sensors, these primes are compatible with a wide range of cine-style, DSLR, and mirrorless cameras.
Choose from Rokinon Cine DSX Canon EF, Canon RF, Micro Four Thirds, and Sony E-mount versions or Samyang VDSLR MK 2 Canon EF, Canon RF, Micro Four Thirds, and Sony E-mount lenses; only the branding is different.
Like earlier versions in these series, the new lenses feature fast T1.5 “de-clicked” apertures, high-quality optics, and 0.8-MOD gears compatible with focus/iris/zoom lens control systems. New cine-style touches include focus marks on two sides for easy viewing by both your operator and camera assistant, smoother focus and iris gearing for more comfortable handheld pulls, nine-bladed apertures for more circular bokeh, and weather-sealed housings for powering through rainy day shoots.
