Unique tech is good. At least in my opinion. We have tons of typical laptops, tablets, and smartphones already available, making anything that can be the right tool for the job extremely valuable. It also might lead to someone finding a new, better way of working. The Microsoft Surface Book 3 is one of those unique devices, this time taking a distinct spin on the trend of convertible laptops/tablets. It even tries to punch up a bit by claiming enough power to be your “portable studio.”
The Quick Rundown
The Book 3 is the most powerful laptop in the Surface lineup. It is a beautiful device with clean lines, a sleek keyboard and trackpad, and a display that can pop off to be used as a tablet. It is available in 13.5" and 15" versions.
As for specs, it features quad-core 10th-Gen Intel® Core™ processors, up to 32GB RAM, graphics up to an NVIDIA Quadro RTX 3000 (Business version), up to 1TB (13.5") or 2TB (15") SSD, and more. Connections include two USB Type-A 3.1 Gen 2, one USB Type-C 3.1 Gen 2 with Power Delivery 3.0, Surface Connect ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an SDXC card reader.
