We here at B&H Photo are happy to share with you the news of the newest member of Tokina’s Cinema Vista Line of full-frame lenses: the 65mm T1.5. Sharing the same features with other lenses in the lineup that make the Cinema Vistas an excellent choice for full-frame or VistaVision origination, the 65mm has the same robust build and quality, with a T1.5 maximum aperture and a 9-blade iris to deliver consistent exposure between lenses, thus avoiding relighting when swapping lenses, as well as maintaining the same pleasing bokeh.

The lens supports 8K resolution and can focus as close as 27" for capturing tight shots with stunning detail. It is available in ARRI LPL, ARRI PL, Canon EF, Sony E mount, and even in MFT, for use on a wide range of cameras and sensor formats. The LPL, PL, and Canon EF-mount lenses cover large formats, including RED’s MONSTRO VV sensor, while the E mount version has slightly less coverage than the LPL, PL, and EF mount lenses, though it will still cover the ARRI ALEXA LF sensor in 4.5K mode, as well as the Sony Venice in 6K. The MFT version of the 65mm T1.5 can easily cover Super35 and smaller sensors with room to spare.
