Shure is releasing new gear for podcasters, streamers, musicians, and people who work from home—and we at B&H are excited to talk about it. First up is the MV7X, the all-analog version of Shure’s celebrated MV7 microphone. This is for voice-over artists and podcasters who love the look and sound of the MV7, but don’t need the USB part of it. This mic offers the discerning user a classic, broadcast look and a classic, broadcast sound—doing so at a price point lower than other comparable mics.
Also on hand is the MV88+, which combines a stereo USB microphone built for various tasks with gear best suited for the home studio (or home office) environment. The microphone itself interfaces with computers through its included USB Type-C and USB Type-A cables—although it can also connect to USB-C mobile devices, making it useful on a variety of devices.
