Roland has updated its popular V-02HD video mixer with enhancements that focus on livestreaming to popular servers and social media sites, with the V-02HD MK II video mixer. The MK II maintains the compact form and features of its predecessor, and it is designed to be used with mobile productions and anywhere you need to mix audio and video for streaming productions without the need for additional streaming encoders and converters. The new MK II adds a fast USB Type-C output to connect to a computer so you can stream to a wide range of streaming platforms such as Twitch, Facebook Live, Zoom, Skype, or YouTube.
The MK II model maintains two HDMI 2.0 inputs to switch two cameras or other high-definition video sources, and it has two HDMI 2.0 outputs―one to send up to 1080p video to a computer or other program destinations, and one preview. The switcher features numerous video effects to add titles, scene layouts, and graphics to your streams, as well as correct the color profiles and add transitions. It also supports HDCP, EDID, up to eight preset types, and allows multi-format input and output formats to support different production styles.
