Product Description

To meet current needs for enhanced remote production and presentation in corporate, education, and house of worship environments, JVC has released three new PTZ (pan/tilt/zoom) cameras to match varying requirements of network types and video resolution: the KY-PZ200 HD with 20x optical zoom, the KY-PZ200N HD NDI|HX with 20x optical zoom, and the KY-PZ400N 4K NDI|HX with 12x optical zoom. All three come in black or white models.

KY-PZ200

The KY-PZ200 is a great entry-level camera for your environment to produce 1080p HD content for streaming. Its 20x zoom, with an additional 8x digital zoom, allows you to get in tight to your subject while also capturing the entire room with its 60.7° field of view. It also supports up to 1080p60 resolution video, it can output video via HDMI, 3G-SDI, USB, and it supports output over a LAN for streaming to the Internet. Its network output uses common streaming formats and protocols, including H.264/H.265 compression, AAC audio, and RTSP/RTMP. The camera supports remote control via RS-232/RS-485 serial from an optional serial controller, or you can control it via an included IR remote, and if you connect to a computer via USB, you can also control it using UVC protocols. JVC has included timecode and NTP sync so you can sync up all your event cameras for later post-production. To save on cabling, the camera supports Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) to power and connect it to a LAN over a single cable.
