During its CES 2022 Special Address, NVIDIA unveiled the new flagship powerhouse, the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti graphics card and the budget-friendly RTX 3050 graphics card. NVIDIA also announced new GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and 3070 Ti laptop GPUs, which will provide GeForce RTX to more than 160 new laptops, including new Studio laptops. NVIDIA is also adding more devices and platforms to its GeForce NOW ecosystem and launched NVIDIA Omniverse for creators.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti
If you blinked, you might have missed NVIDIA confirming the existence of the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti. The RTX 3090 Ti will have 24GB of GDDR6X VRAM running at 21 Gb/s―that’s faster memory clock than the RTX 3090. NVIDIA also mentioned that it will have 40 Shader teraflops, 78 RT teraflops, and 320 Tensor teraflops. NVIDIA was sparse on the details, such as power draw specs or even pricing, but did mention that more information will be available later this month, so make sure to stay tuned.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050
While the RTX 3090 Ti is designed for maximum performance and power, NVIDIA didn’t forget the budget-conscious gamer. NVIDIA also announced the RTX 3050, which brings performance and efficiency to more gamers. The RTX 3050 can power your games at 60 fps and deliver ray tracing, thanks to its 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM. Its 2nd-generation RT cores, as well as 3rd-generation Tensor cores for DLSS and AI, are great reasons for GTX gamers to join the RTX platform, starting January 27.
