Streaming high-resolution video is no longer a chore to set up, thanks to the latest Teradek connectivity offering, the all-in-one Serv 4K streaming solution, that inputs up to DCI 4K60 HDR video via HDMI or 12G-SDI and encodes high-resolution 4K video to the cloud.
Network Connectivity
The Serv 4K features a hard-wired Ethernet to provide the fastest, most stable connection to the Internet. It will encode video input up to DCI 4K60 to the high-resolution, low-latency HEVC/H.265 codec at blazingly fast speeds up to 85 Mb/s. It allows for 10-bit HDR encoding to maintain vivid color depth, secures your streams using 256-bit encryption, and supports the common H.264 codec for maximum compatibility.
I/O Options
Compatible with a wide range of cameras, switchers, and video gear, the Serv 4K can input up to DCI 4K60 video via its HDMI 2.0 and 12G-SDI interfaces. It can also output up to DCI 4K60 to a local monitor or switcher. You can record your program with its built-in SD card slot using either HEVC or H.264 codecs for very small file sizes, or you can utilize the two USB Type-C ports to record to an external hard drive. Additionally, the Serv 4K allows you to output microphone audio via a 3.5mm jack to embed into your stream, and you can de-embed the audio to a 3.5mm output for headphone or speaker playback, making the Serv 4K a truly well-rounded A/V streaming device.
