
On October 12, Microsoft held an event to announce its next-gen Surface lineup for its laptops, tablets, and all-in-one desktop computers. During the event, Microsoft announced the Surface Pro 9, Surface Laptop 5, and Surface Studio 2+. Microsoft also unveiled the new features coming to Windows 11.

The Surface Pro 9 offers a choice between two processors—a 12th Gen Intel® Core™ processor or a Microsoft SQ3 processor. Let’s go over the differences between the two models.
The Surface Pro 9 is available with either a 12th Gen Intel® Core™ i5 or i7 processor and is built on the Intel® Evo™ platform. In addition, you’ll also have dual Thunderbolt™ 4 ports, which can have up to 40 Gb/s of data throughput. This model has a battery life of approximately 15.5 hours (may vary depending on usage). Stay connected with Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax). The 12th Gen Intel® Core™ model is optimal for use with professional software and local gaming.
