Wooden Camera has announced a completely new Elite Accessory System collection for the VENICE 2 and Rialto 2 cinema cameras. The new system is specifically designed to add streamlined support and mounting options for these two cinema cameras so they can be used more easily in any shooting environment. The support accessories are modular and can be used together or independently for endless configuration options, making the Elite Accessory System a great, versatile addition to your kit.
Top Plates and Baseplates
The new Quick Release Top Plate System for the VENICE 2 is a lightweight cheese-style plate, so it doesn’t add much weight to the camera, and it features a sliding function to mount seamlessly on the camera’s top dovetail. It offers numerous mounting threads with locating pins, and there is even an expansion plate with spaces for accessories that use hook-and-loop straps. The lightweight Arca Baseplate for VENICE 2 works with any bridge plate, and it can be used for mounting shoulder pads, counterbalance accessories, lens motor mounting, and it features optically centered 15mm rod brackets. It even provides screw storage and cutouts to make the plate even lighter.
